Laphroaig is today hosting its fifth annual interactive tasting of iconic Laphroaig expressions, broadcasting live from Sydney, Australia.
The 40-minute tasting will be hosted by distillery manager, John Campbell and master blender, Robert Hicks. They will be joined by two guests, Lin Johnston, a descendant of Alexander Johnston who founded Laphroaig with his brother in 1815 and the author, Rebecca Varidel.
The tasting will include Laphroaig Quarter Cask, Laphroaig Triple Wood, Laphroaig Cáirdeas 30 Year Old and a rare Laphroaig 10 Year Old, which was distilled in the 1950s. Participants from around the globe, who will include Friends of Laphroaig and anyone with an interest in the iconic Islay Malt, will be able to post questions to the panel throughout the broadcast.
