Saltire Rare Malt Whisky Tweet Tasting

In addition to our more established Tweet Tasting partners, during the last 14 years we’ve always been equally excited to bring you dramfotainment from some of the newer dramming names on the block. Talking of which, we’re very much looking forward to doing exactly that on September 4th, with the Fife based independent bottler: Saltire Rare Malt Whisky Company

Established in 2022, Saltire Rare Malt Whisky Company was founded by Nigel Heywood and Keith Rennie, who over the last few decades have been building a uniquely curated collection of over 250 casks; from famous labels, rare gems and casks from 'lost distilleries'.

Our lips are sealed for the moment on what we’ll be pouring and exploring on the night, but what we can tell you is that we’ll be sharing, sipping and savouring some truly sensational sips!

Full details coming soon, but if you fancy taking part in what promises to be an epic evening of tweet tastery click here to register by emailing your name, Twitter / X handle, postal address, phone number and date of birth. Glasgow 1770 Tokaji Cask Finish (54.8% ABV) an unpeated single malt Scotch whisky, which was initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels, before being finished in Hungarian Tokaji wine casks.

Both expressions have been matured for six years and are the first age stated releases in the Glasgow 1770 Small Batch Series.
