The Tullibardine Distillery has today announced the appointment of its new Distillery Manager.

Minnie Parmiter will succeed David Myles as Distillery Manager at Blackford-based Highland single malt distillery. David is retiring after a 20-year tenure at Tullibardine, helping shape the distillery as it is known today.

Minnie joins Tullibardine with a wealth of distilling knowledge from her time at Echlinville Distillery in Northern Ireland, Diageo’s Roseisle Distillery, Brewdog and most recently, Copper Lion Distillery which she co-founded in 2020.

Minnie’s background lies in biology and academic research, making her scientific and practical experience the perfect match for carrying the baton at Tullibardine.

Commenting on the news, Minnie said: “I am delighted to join the team here at Tullibardine. David has managed the site for 20 years and has a huge amount of knowledge, so it is a real privilege to be learning from him. Tullibardine is a distillery with wonderful character, much of which has been imparted by David’s tenure and by many of the operators who have been here for a similar length of time. I am honoured to be trusted with the custodianship of Tullibardine spirit going forwards and excited to see what the future brings.”

Minnie will take over the role at Tullibardine Distillery this month.
