William Grant & Sons has announced the launch of a new collection of single malts from its Speyside-based Glenfiddich Distillery, crafted to celebrate moments of meaningful connection.

Created under the expert eye of world-renowned Malt Master Brian Kinsman, the Glenfiddich XS Collection comprises three single malt Scotch whiskies – aged 15, 18, and 21 years – each finished in carefully selected Oloroso, Moscatel, and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks.

Designed to mark moments of personal progress, Glenfiddich XS is described by the brand as ushering in a new era of elevated whisky enjoyment — occasions defined by purposeful indulgence. Rooted in Glenfiddich’s signature Speyside character, the collection seeks to awaken the senses through enhanced maturation and exceptional cask finishes.

The Glenfiddich XS Collection:

Glenfiddich XS Fifteen Year Old (42% ABV) This expression is said to elevate Glenfiddich’s classic Speyside style with an indulgent Oloroso Sherry cask finish. Matured for fifteen years in a carefully selected combination of American and European oak casks, the whisky offers a vibrant balance of soft green apple and warming cinnamon. Light spice and gentle oak sweetness add depth and vivacity, resulting in a refined yet refreshing dram.

Glenfiddich XS Eighteen Year Old (42% ABV) Adding further richness to the collection, this expression introduces a rare Moscatel Sherry cask finish. A harmonious blend of American and European oak casks is elevated by bold, velvety, full-bodied flavours. Fragrant, caramelised fruit, treacle toffee, raisins, and dried apricot come together to create a layered, evolving and perfectly balanced character.

Glenfiddich XS Twenty One Year Old (42% ABV) The pinnacle of the collection, this expression is said to deliver exquisite depth, opulence and complexity. Initially matured in American oak and Oloroso Sherry casks, it is then given a final flourish in rare Pedro Ximénez casks. The result is a whisky of woody spice, sun-dried dates, and figs, underpinned by rich, full-bodied layers of complex oak. A dram to savour slowly — each sip revealing further nuance, shaped by over two decades of craftsmanship.

The Glenfiddich XS Fifteen Year Old, Eighteen Year Old, and Twenty One Year Old expressions will be available from November, exclusively from the distillery shop and selected specialist retailers and bars in China, for the respective RRP’s of £58.00, £88.00, and £170.00.
