Royal Salute has announced the launch of its second Harris Reed Edition, the latest release in its limited-edition Fashion Collection.

The Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II (40% ABV) is a blended Scotch whisky made with a high proportion of Longmorn and first-fill Sherry butt-matured whiskies, alongside malts from Braeval and grain whiskies from Strathclyde.

The new limited-edition flagon is available in two bespoke designs, each drawing inspiration from iconic royal garments. These striking bottle designs reimagine royal crowns through intricate lace patterns infused with Harris Reed’s contemporary aesthetic. Each edition celebrates both heritage and modern artistry, serving as a collectible piece that visually encapsulates the spirit of this unique collaboration.

Together, Harris Reed and Royal Salute Master Blender Sandy Hyslop have pushed the boundaries of luxury whisky and high-end couture, crafting a spirit that reflects both of their distinctive artistic visions. Building on the acclaim of the first edition, this second release delves even deeper into Reed’s diverse style, promising heightened collectability and creative depth.

This latest release from the Chivas Brothers-owned brand, described as a remarkable blend of heritage, craftsmanship and cutting-edge design, is said to offer notes of clementine, sweet ripe pears, freshly baked sponge cake, hazelnut, salted caramel, cinnamon sticks and a hint of chamomile on the nose. The palate follows with flavours of fresh raspberries, apple rings, creamy vanilla, cherry compote, orange chocolate, sweet toasted oak and festive spice.

Royal Salute 21 Year Old Harris Reed Edition II will be available later this month from selected retailers in Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines and Poland, for a RRP of $325.00.
