Mango Bay Mauritius Rum has announced its official UK launch, offering consumers a compelling new origin story, a distinctive flavour profile and a premium proposition designed to help shape the growing category of “new-world” rum exploration.

Mango Bay Mauritius Rum (40% ABV) is a 100% Mauritian, pot-distilled rum. The blend comprises 50% VS and 25% VSOP molasses rums, matured in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, alongside 25% pure sugarcane juice rum matured in French oak casks.

At the heart of the release is Master Maker & Blender J. Arthur Rackham, whose latest creation has been crafted in partnership with the Oxenham Family Distillery in Mauritius. This established, family-owned distillery employs heritage methods and values that closely align with Rackham’s own family enterprise, which he runs alongside his son and daughter. Together, they unite contemporary blending expertise with authentic island rum-making traditions to create a spirit that is unmistakably Mauritian and unmistakably Mango Bay.

Mango Bay Mauritius Rum was created to stand apart, championing Mauritian rum-making inspired by the island’s rich biodiversity. It is provenance-led and rooted in mythical discovery, shaped by volcanic terroir, tropical ageing, and a rare dual-style blend that brings together the island’s finest molasses and pure sugarcane juice rums.

Distributed in the UK by Emporia Brands, Mango Bay Mauritius Rum will be available from selected specialist retailers for a RRP of £40.00.
