Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the launch of a special limited-edition release to mark the 20th anniversary of its Bernheim Original Kentucky Straight Wheat Whiskey.

Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey 20th Anniversary Release (57.5% ABV) has been crafted using the brand’s signature soft winter wheat recipe and a specially selected batch of 10-year-old barrels.

Produced at the historic Bernheim Distillery and matured in rickhouses in Bardstown, Kentucky, this small-batch release reflects Heaven Hill’s continued commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Launched in 2005, Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey was the first genuinely new American whiskey style introduced since Prohibition, boldly using soft winter wheat as its primary grain. At the time, this category-defining innovation marked a turning point for American whiskey — one that has since become an enduring legacy.

Bernheim Original Wheat Whiskey 20th Anniversary Release opens on the nose with notes of cinnamon and baking spices, layered with vanilla and oak. The palate follows with rich flavours of molasses and butterscotch, leading to a peppery finish that lingers with warmth and balance.
