The Louisville, Kentucky-based Michter’s Distillery has announced the launch of its latest batch of 10 Year Old Bourbon.
Michter’s 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon – 2026 Release (47.2% ABV) was matured in charred American white oak barrels, hand-selected by Michter’s Master Distiller Dan McKee and Master of Maturation Andrea Wilson.
In October 2025, Michter’s became the first whiskey to be named The World’s Most Admired Whiskey for three consecutive years by an international academy of voters convened by the UK-based publication Drinks International.
Michter’s has a long and distinguished heritage of producing traditional American whiskeys of uncompromising quality. Each of its limited-production expressions is aged to peak maturity, and the highly acclaimed portfolio includes bourbon, rye, sour mash whiskey and American whiskey.
Commenting on the launch, Master Distiller Dan McKee said: “Because barrels — even those positioned next to one another in the rickhouse — do not necessarily mature in the same way, we age our whiskey beyond the ten-year mark before selecting fully matured barrels for Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon. Our team is excited when we have a 10 Year Bourbon that meets our high standards and is ready to release.”
Michter’s President, Joseph J. Magliocco, added: “Ten Year Bourbon is especially significant for us because, along with 10 Year Rye, it was one of the first two expressions released by Kentucky Michter’s. As our team continues to pursue the goal of producing the finest American whiskey, we do everything possible to ensure each release of our 10 Year Bourbon delivers a full-flavoured, rich and memorable tasting experience.”
Michter’s 10 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon – 2026 Release will be available later this month from selected US retailers for a RRP of $195.00.
