Speciality Brands has announced the release of an exclusive selection of 2025 limited editions from the Louisville, Kentucky-based Michter’s Distillery.

The four releases comprise an ultra-premium 20 Year Bourbon (57.1% ABV), 10 Year Old Rye (46.4% ABV), 10 Year Old Bourbon (47.2% ABV) and Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash (43% ABV).

Michter’s has a rich and longstanding legacy of producing traditional American whiskies of uncompromising quality, with each of its limited-production expressions aged to peak maturity.

Michter’s 20 Year Bourbon
Incredibly rare, Michter’s 20 Year Bourbon has been matured for two decades in first-use charred American oak barrels. The result is said to be a profoundly expressive whiskey with exceptional depth, featuring notes of vanilla, toffee, chocolate, spice and fruit.

Michter’s 10 Year Rye
A refined and elegant interpretation of Kentucky-style rye whiskey, Michter’s 10 Year Rye is often aged beyond its stated age, allowing for careful maturation that deepens and harmonises its flavours. On the nose and palate, warm baking spice and fresh citrus are balanced by rich notes of vanilla, caramel, chocolate and sweet oak.

Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon
This Bourbon is said to be an elegant and richly layered whiskey with an inviting nose and a full-bodied palate. Extended maturation yields a sophisticated profile, with notes of cinnamon, orange oil, and a hint of baked apple, culminating in a long, satisfying finish of peanut brittle, charred oak, and peppercorn.

Michter’s Toasted Barrel Finish Sour Mash
Finished in toasted, uncharred barrels, this expression develops a deeper flavour profile, with rich honeyed sweetness, burnt sugar, and citrus spice, complemented by subtle smoky vanilla. This finishing process enhances complexity without overpowering the whiskey’s natural character.

In October 2025, Michter’s became the first whiskey to be named The World’s Most Admired Whiskey for three consecutive years by an international academy of voters convened by the UK-based publication Drinks International.
