Well, how time flies when you’re having dramming-based fun! This week marks the 16th anniversary of The Whisky Wire, as well as my time in the whisky industry as a whole.

Posts like this can often risk sounding a little self-indulgent, so I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has ever visited the website, joined one of our tastings, engaged with us on social media, or supported me and The Whisky Wire in any other way over the years.

I’d also like to extend my sincere thanks to all the brands that have shown such fantastic support throughout this journey. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to enjoy some truly memorable experiences, both here in the UK and around the world—opportunities that I’ll never take for granted!

Also, a mahoosive thank you to the 200+ clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with across tasting events and my various freelance roles. Your trust in me to represent your brands has played a huge part in shaping what I do, and I’m genuinely grateful for each and every opportunity.

Here’s to the next 16 years—continuing to passionately champion the world of whisky and of course, as most of you will know by now, my other favourite spirit: rum!
