The Kentucky-based Yellowstone Bourbon has announced the launch of the 2026 release in its annual Limited Edition series.
Yellowstone Limited Edition 2026 (50.5% ABV) is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon produced using whiskeys aged 7 and 14 years, finished in Ruby and Tawny Port casks.
Inspired by the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park, this year’s expression reflects the interplay of light and shadow that defines one of the park’s most iconic landscapes. This contrast inspired Stephen Beam to finish the bourbons separately – in Ruby Port casks to evoke the brilliant glow of the canyon at sunset, and in Tawny Port casks to capture the deep shadows of the valley floor – before marrying them into a single expression.
The 11th release in the annual series, crafted by Limestone Branch Distillery Master Distiller Stephen Beam, is said to offer notes of charred oak, blackberry, plum and a thread of piloncillo on the nose, followed by notes of caramelised sugar, dark fruit, dark chocolate, roasted nuts and a hint of clove on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Stephen Beam, said: “Every Yellowstone bottle is inspired by the park, and this year I kept coming back to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone National Park. The way the sunlight moves across the canyon transforms what you see from moment to moment. Using Ruby and Tawny Port casks allowed me to capture that contrast and translate it into a bourbon that feels dynamic and complete.”
Limited in quantities, Yellowstone Limited Edition 2026 is now available from Limestone Branch Distillery for a RRP of $99.00. It will also be available from selected retailers across the US from August.
