The Crieff-based Glenturret Distillery, has announced the launch of a new limited-edition release, said to be defined not only by time, but by the impression it leaves behind.

The Glenturret Remanence (48.4% ABV) is a non-age-stated single malt Scotch whisky, produced using peated spirit and matured in American and European oak casks.

Created by Bob Dalgarno, The Glenturret’s Whisky Maker, the latest release is inspired by what lingers after, the warmth of shared company, the quiet that follows and the memory that never fully fades. It explores the lasting character of an experience and its ability to stay with us.

The Glenturret Remanence, is said to deliver a refined veil of freshly awakened smoke, which opens the whisky, lifted by citrus brightness and soft vanilla sweetness. At its heart, smooth caramel unfolds into layers of elegant oak spice, balanced with quiet restraint. The finish is long and evocative, with gentle smoke and soft spice lingering long after the final sip.

Limited in quantity, The Glenturret Remanence is now available from the distillery’s website and selected specialist retailers, for a RRP of £95.00.
