Fine wine and rare spirits merchant Justerini & Brooks, has announced the reopening of its historic home at 61 St James’s Street in London, marking a new chapter in its 277 year history.

The longstanding St James’s landmark now presents a newly revived experience dedicated to fine wine and rare spirits. Spanning four floors, the space is open to private clients and new visitors looking to explore one of London’s most specialist collections of wine and spirits.

For almost three centuries, Justerini & Brooks has built its reputation on expertise and exceptional service, with passion, knowledge, bonhomie and generosity at the heart of everything it does. A continuous holder of a Royal Warrant since 1761, the merchant has supplied royal occasions and welcomed cultural figures, from Charles Dickens to Fred Astaire, through its doors.

Guests are welcomed by a reception and thoughtfully curated boutique, showcasing a selection chosen by Justerini & Brooks’ experts for tasting and purchase. Upstairs, the first-floor Library provides a discreet setting for clients to meet with those managing their collections, offering space for considered discussion alongside impressive views along St James’s Street.

Further inside, the second floor houses a new invitation-only dining room, continuing Justerini & Brooks’ long tradition of hosting friends, clients and a distinctly British, eclectic mix of high-profile figures for memorable dining occasions.

Deep beneath the building, the historic cellar has been carefully restored as an atmospheric tasting destination. It houses rare vintages from Justerini & Brooks’ reserves alongside a dedicated Casks of Distinction whisky alcove.

Rare and collectable whiskies, including the legendary Brora Triptych and new Rare Series releases, sit alongside luxury spirits such as Don Julio 1942. Clients visiting by appointment may also be offered a house pour from bespoke bottlings curated for the Justerini & Brooks private client community.

From its home at 61 St James’s Street, Justerini & Brooks’ reach extends globally. Through Diageo’s footprint in Scotland, its private client services give collectors access to some of the country’s finest whisky experiences, including bespoke distillery visits. The reopening brings the merchant’s deep producer relationships into a physical home.
