The Crieff-based Glenturret Distillery, has announced the launch of its 2026 Extremely Scarce Collection, which for the first time, includes a 20 Years Old single malt alongside its 25 Year Old and 30 Year Old expressions.

The latest releases from Scotland’s oldest working distillery have been described as a celebration of time, craftsmanship and cask selection, with each offering a distinctive expression of the distillery’s enduring dedication to quality and the art of whisky-making.

At the heart of this year’s release is the debut of The Glenturret 20 Year Old (47.6% ABV), a single malt Scotch whisky, crafted from four European oak casks and limited to 1,700 bottles.

The release is said to bring together vibrant tropical fruit with the gentle warmth of wood spices. Pineapple and mango unfold with intensity, complemented by delicate ginger and a refined foundation of mature oak. On the palate, tropical fruits intertwine with sweet spices, culminating in a subtle, fruit-led finish.

The collection also welcomes the return of The Glenturret 25 Year Old (40.2% ABV), a single malt Scotch whisky matured in European Sherry oak casks and limited to 210 bottles.

The whisky is said to reveal a beautifully layered character, with depth, elegance and complexity unfolding with every moment. Soft ginger cake and rich dried fruits are accompanied by aged oak and gentle wood spices. Dark fruit compote develops alongside notes of vanilla and clean oak, culminating in a subtle, creamy finish.

The collection also includes The Glenturret 30 Year Old (40.1% ABV), the oldest whisky in the 2026 release. This single malt Scotch whisky was matured in European oak casks and is limited to just 75 bottles.

The whisky is said to deliver notes of rich fruit, wood and spices, complemented by lighter touches of citrus and vanilla.

The Glenturret 2026 Extremely Scarce Collection 20 Year Old, 25 Year Old and 30 Year Old, are now available from the distillery’s website, for the respective RRPs of £600, £1,500 and £2,200.
