Havana Club has announced the launch of the sixth and final release in its Iconica Collection, a series rooted in a tradition that began more than five decades ago.

Havana Club Iconica Unión (40% ABV), comprising four distinct aged Cuban rums from the brand’s most prestigious reserves, was crafted using Havana Club’s signature continuous ageing process.

The foundations of Havana Club’s continuous ageing philosophy were laid in the 1970s by the late Maestro Ronero Don José Navarro, whose pioneering vision continues to inspire today’s Maestros.

This unique process harnesses the exceptional conditions of Cuba’s tropical climate. After several years of natural ageing, a portion of the rum is re-aged and blended in another cask to create a more sophisticated profile.

Each generation of rum nourishes the next, creating an evolving legacy in which older rums are carefully married with younger ones, without ever interrupting their maturation.

Havana Club Iconica Unión is said to open with notes of caramel, honey and dried fruits, followed by toasted wood, citrus peel and delicate tobacco. Rich yet impeccably balanced, every sip captures the expertise and artistry that define the Havana Club portfolio.

Presented in the Iconica Collection’s signature decanter, the new bottle represents an hourglass – a timeless symbol of the patience and passage of time required to age rum to perfection. Its sculpted silhouette and flowing gold detailing evoke the movement of rum through generations, while the iconic Giraldilla remains a tribute to Havana’s enduring heritage and spirit.
